Data CD's:
Crash test data including raw accelerometer data, test vehicle before and after crash measurements, before and after photos, video clips and CDR files (all where available or appropriate for the series) for as many as 14 crashes per CD are now available thru CSI and CrashConferences.com. The CDs are a compilation of crash tests conducted by the CSI researchers and by the CSI team for other organizations in support of periodic conferences or other testing. While the precise contents of each individual CD vary given the focus of the test series conducted, each begins with an autorun feature that describes that CD's exact contents by test series as well as identification of the involved cars, instrumentation used and more. Those CDs which include "CAD" drawings of the involved cars or crash "site," again as appropriate to the test conducted, also include a free DXF viewer software. A PDF viewer is provided to examine Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) reports and other documents saved in PDF format is provided for those events where such data was collected as appropriate to the series.
